  Kindergarten teacher Jill Henning is swarmed by her students and Staley the Bear after she was honored as a Symmetry Hero In the Classroom during a ceremony Wednesday at Hough Street Elementary School in Barrington. In association with the Chicago Bears, Henning was given a $2000 donation for the school, two tickets to a Bears game, an autographed football and a pregame VIP sideline experience.I loved when the teacher was crushed by her students and especially when Staley jumped in to give her a "bear" hug.   Sixth-grader Zoe Snell and her mom Karen help others from Classical Consortium Academy assemble "comfort packs" Wednesday in Barrington for Safe Families for Children that will be delivered to the kids in need. Included in the packs were basic necessities like toiletries and socks and underwear as well as some art supplies and a plush toy that helps soothe anxieties and comfort children, called a Squishmallow. Kellytoy donated hundreds of Squishmallows after getting a letter from Zoe explaining how it helps her cope with anxious moments and they're also making a new Squishmallow based on her design.
