Mount Prospect celebrates Irish Fest

Mount Prospect held its 7th annual Irish Fest Saturday under a huge heated tent in the Chase Bank parking lot at the corner of Emerson Street and Busse Avenue in the downtown area.

The festival, which ran from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., featured music from Ireland's Matt Rowley and some of Chicago's hottest Celtic musicians, Irish dance, Irish merchandise, Irish food and Irish beer.
