No injuries in Lake Forest house fire
No one was injured in a Lake Forest house fire Wednesday afternoon, according to fire department officials.
The Lake Forest Fire Department was called to a single-family home in the southwest part of town at 12:15 p.m. for a report of a shed on fire. Firefighters arrived to find flames and smoke coming from the roof of the house. The flames were extinguished in 18 minutes.
Fire department officials estimate damage to the home at $45,000. The fire's cause remains under investigation.
