Palatine police want help in identifying man seen in condo building
Palatine police say they hope the public can help identify a man they want to speak with as part of an investigation of two burglaries.
In an effort to generate leads about the man, police on Friday released images of him that were captured by surveillance cameras in a condominium building in the 100 block of West Wood Street in downtown Palatine, where authorities said the burglaries occurred. The images have a March 31 time stamp.
Police said two condos were burglarized. They said they want to interview the man in the surveillance photographs, calling him a "person of interest."
In addition, police said they hope to learn of other potential witnesses. Anyone who can assist with identifying the man whose image was captured in the building or with information regarding the burglaries is asked to call Palatine police at (847) 359-9000 or Crime Stoppers at (847) 590-7867.
