Conant fundraiser gives people good excuse for eating cupcakes

James B. Conant High School Saturday hosted the annual Joe and Pat Schlender Cupcakes for a Cause event.

Cupcakes were sold for $2 each or $20 per dozen to raise funds for programs such as Cougars in Need, Special Olympics and Little Friends. The day included free crafts and games for kids.
