Tap House Grill raises $3,000 for leukemia research

Tap House Grill's new Prospect Heights location raised more than $3,000 to support leukemia research during ribbon-cutting celebration this month.

The bar and grill, 1090 S. Milwaukee Ave., donated all of its proceeds from the opening event Feb. 8 to the Leukemia Research Foundation.

The Northfield-based foundation supports research of the disease and provides financial assistance to affected patients and families.

Tap House Grill, which has eight locations across the suburbs, serves craft beers and a menu of classic pub food. It's located at the Ramada Plaza Chicago North Shore.
