Batavia police searching for man who exposed himself to young girl

Batavia Police are warning residents of a 30-year-old white male who reportedly exposed himself to a young girl outside of her home Wednesday.

Police said the girl was in the 0 to 100 block of South Jackson Street at 3:45 p.m. when the man called out to get her attention while near a white four-door car.

When the girl turned to him, he exposed himself before driving away in the vehicle, police said.

The girl's father tried following the vehicle but was unable to keep up with the high rate of speed the car was traveling near northbound Western Avenue and Wilson Street, police said.

The offender is described as having dark, medium-length hair; a tan complexion; and a mustache and goatee, police said. The man was wearing a blue shirt.
