Parking rate increasing at Mundelein Metra station
Commuters who park at Mundelein's Metra station at 101 N. Archer Ave. will have to pay more, effective immediately. The village board voted Monday to increase the daily parking rate to $1.75, from $1.50. The daily rate hasn't changed since the station opened in 1996. Daily fee revenue supports ongoing maintenance costs at the station and its parking lots.
