Two men face gun charges in Aurora
Two men are facing weapons charges after they were found with several guns - one of which was stolen, officials said.
Police served a search warrant at the home of Cortez H. King, 22, of the 800 block of Serendipity Drive in Aurora, on Feb. 16, after an investigation by the Aurora Police Department's Special Operations Unit, officials said; officers found four handguns, including one that had been stolen out of DuPage County, King was charged with one count of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, police said.
Parish A. Riley, 25, of Plano, was charged with one count of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and one count of unlawful possession of a stolen firearm, officials said. Parish also had warrants for his arrest out of DeKalb and Kendall counties on charges of aggravated discharge of a firearm and obstructing police, according to officials.
Five other men were released without charges pending further investigation, police said.
