Volunteers neeeded for opioid initiative
The Lake County Opioid Initiative is looking for volunteers to serve on a fundraising subcommittee. Anyone who wants to participate should attend the next meeting at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, in Room A003 at the College of Lake County, 19351 Washington St., Grayslake. The subcommittee meeting will follow the task force meeting in the same room. The task force is comprised of members from law enforcement, first responders, treatment providers, local hospitals, school districts, faith-based members and government officials working on initiatives to address the drug problem affecting Lake County.
