Play on MLK's last day to premiere in Schaumburg

Schaumburg's Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts will host the premiere of the original production "Last Night as King: The Final 24 Hours of the Life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr." at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24.

The production, which recognizes Black History Month and April's 50th anniversary of King's death, is written, produced and directed by Maurice D. Proffit and copresented by B-Side Production and Powerhouse Productions.

Tickets cost $10 and are available at bsideproduction.com.

The Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts is at 201 Schaumburg Court in Schaumburg, on the village's municipal campus.
