Northwest Community unveils $1 million Wellness Center upgrades

Northwest Community Healthcare officials cut the ribbon Monday on a $1 million renovation of its Wellness Center in Arlington Heights.

The upgrades include more than 100 new pieces of cardio and strength training equipment and 5,000 square feet of training area space.

The center at 900 W. Central Road offers group exercise programs, nutrition programs, a spa, pool, whirlpool, warm water therapy pool and steam room.

Another ribbon cutting is scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the hospital's new retail community pharmacy, on the first floor of the Busse Center across from patient registration.
