Democrats seeking governor's job to make their case Tuesday on TV

Voters can learn more about the six Democrats running for governor Tuesday evening in a televised forum.

The hourlong program starts at 6 p.m. on NBC 5 and Telemundo Chicago.

The candidates are State Sen. Daniel Biss of Evanston, Madison County Superintendent of Schools Bob Daiber, Chicago activist Tio Hardiman, Kenilworth developer Chris Kennedy, Burr Ridge doctor Robert Marshall and Chicago billionaire businessman J.B. Pritzker.

Republican Gov. Bruce Rauner faces a challenge from state Rep. Jeanne Ives of Wheaton in the March 20 primary.

NBC 5 Political Editor Carol Marin will moderate the forum, which will be conducted with a round-table format, and questions will be taken from the audience.

The event will air on NBC 5 and Telemundo and will be available online at nbcchicago.com/ or telemundochicago.com/.
