Kids' Party for Pediatric Blood Cancer Patients

More than 75 kids between the ages of three and 16 and their families enjoyed a special day hosted by the Leukemia Research Foundation (LRF). Activities included the Jesse White Tumblers, a buffet lunch, dancing and games with a DJ, and took home bountiful goody bags from the Annual Kids' Party hosted by the Leukemia Research Foundation (LRF) on Sunday, January 14 in Wheeling, Ill.

"Kids' Party is an opportunity for children to put aside treatments, hospital stays and side effects and feel like a kid again," said Linda Kabot, LRF Director of Programs. "The LRF invites all families, free of charge, to participate in this wonderful event. For some parents, this was the first time in months that they saw their child having fun," Kabot said.

Kids Party is made possible by the support of many corporate sponsors and private donations, for which the LRF is grateful. A special thanks to the many volunteers who participated in the event.
