Cary man charged in stabbing

A Cary man was charged with attempted murder after, police say, he stabbed someone he knew Saturday night in Fox River Grove. The 36-year-old victim was in critical condition Monday at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Fox River Grove Police Chief Eric Waitrovich said. Full story.

Narcan now available at all Jewel-Osco stores

Jewel-Osco pharmacies are the latest suburban drugstores to start selling naloxone, an opioid overdose nasal spray reversal drug, without a prescription. The drug is already sold over the counter at pharmacies including Walgreens and Mariano's. Full story.
