Water main breaks in Wauconda
Some Wauconda residents temporarily lost water service Monday after a main beneath Roosevelt Road broke, authorities said. The outage affected about seven houses on Roosevelt, plus the Harbor Club Condominiums and two small·apartment buildings on Main Street. Service was shut off around midmorning and restored by 2:40 p.m.
