Frosty Fest a hit in Gurnee

A lack of snow wasn't enough to melt the spirits of people enjoying Saturday's Frosty Fest in Gurnee.

The family fun festival at Bittersweet Golf Course featured people enjoying the ice sculpting and horse drawn sleigh rides while eating S'mores and sipping hot cocoa. There were also plenty of winter games for people to enjoy.

The free event was sponsored by FitNation Gurnee, Bittersweet Golf Club, BCU, Village of Gurnee, Honey Orthodontics: Braces and Invisalign by Oana Honey Gurnee IL, Warren Special Recreation Association, and NorthShore University HealthSystem.
