St. Charles, West Chicago cops hunting robbery suspect

Police from St. Charles and West Chicago are asking for help to identify a suspect in a pair of Dec. 27 armed robberies.

The man, identified as a Hispanic in his mid-20s, standing about 6 feet tall and weighing roughly 200 pounds, is suspected of robbing the Domino's Pizza at 1450 W. Main St. in St. Charles and the Thorntons gasoline station at 1330 Neltnor Boulevard in West Chicago.

Police are offering a $500 reward for information leading to the man's arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call St. Charles police at (630) 377-4435 or West Chicago police at (630) 293-2222. St. Charles police said the suspect entered the Domino's shortly after midnight on Dec. 27, displayed a black handgun and demanded cash. The clerk gave the man money and a cellphone.

West Chicago police did not immediately provide details of the gas station robbery.
