York Road reopens after water main break fixed

York Road in Elmhurst was fully open to traffic Friday after crews repaired a water main break, officials said.
One lane of York was closed between Butterfield Road and Lexington Street most of Thursday because of the early morning break at the southeast corner of Butterfield and York.
The break caused water to freeze on the pavement and created a traffic hazard.
