Power out in Geneva neighborhood
Geneva public works employees are trying to find a broken area of an underground cable they believe has caused a power outage Thursday in the Randall Square neighborhood.
The outage began around 10:30 a.m. It is affecting about one-third of the west side subdivision.
Officials hope to start restoring power to homes by 12:45 p.m., but expect it could take several hours for full restoration, according to a news release from the city.
