Carolers, tractor rides a prelude to Christmas in Long Grove

The day before Christmas Eve, Long Grove's downtown was determined to help holiday revelers get in the mood, as they completed holiday shopping and enjoyed the old-fashioned downtown's bars, boutiques and restaurants.

Carolers performed and free wagon rides ferried people over the covered bridge that the town is working to save.
