Aurora man charged in Naperville drug probe

An Aurora man faces multiple drug-related charges after being arrested earlier this month as part of an undercover investigation by the Naperville Police Department's Special Operations Group, authorities said Friday.

Samir Mulla, 35, is charged with two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance in DuPage County and three counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in Will County. Police said he was taken into custody earlier this month.

Police said the probe began in October and undercover agents made multiple purchases of cannabis and other narcotics. They said they recovered drugs with an estimated street value of $8,500 along with three handguns,

Mulla is being held in the DuPage County jail on $150,000 bail and also has a $100,000 bail in Will County.
