Lake County candidate order lottery Dec. 12
A lottery to determine the order of candidates' names on Lake County's March primary ballot will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, in the lobby of the Lake County Courthouse and Administrative Complex, 18 North County St., Waukegan.
A lottery is required to determine the order of the candidates' names on the primary election ballot when two or more established political party candidates from the same party file nominating papers for the same office at 8:30 a.m. on the first day or the last hour of last day of filing, according to County Clerk Carla N. Wyckoff.
A current candidate list is available at LakeCountyClerk.info and will be updated as new candidate information becomes available.
