Volunteers hold flags aloft in West Dundee to honor veterans

To honor veterans, past and present, the fourth annual Stand for Vets event was held Saturday at St. Catherine of Siena Church in West Dundee.

From 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. people could stand together or sit on the grassy area in front of the church along Route 72. Volunteers brought their own American flags from home to display.
