How to help with land restoration near Libertyville

Volunteers are being sought for a land restoration project from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 11, at Liberty Prairie Nature Preserve, 18267 West Casey Road, Libertyville Township.

Volunteers help with projects such as weed control, seed collecting and planting. Tools and instruction are provided.

The meeting spot is on the south side of Casey Road, about one mile east of Route 45. Turn into the first driveway east of the trail crossing. Visit www.libertyprairie.org or email info@conservelakecounty.org for more information.
