Libertyville High School students collect food for charity

The Libertyville High School Student Council sponsored the school's annual food drive this week at the school.

On Friday, students gathered the collected items during their third period classes and loaded awaiting Libertyville Township trucks. The food was taken to the township's food pantry.

Earlier this week, student council members delivered fliers to homes in the community and will be collecting those items before 9 a.m. Saturday. Those residents who didn't receive a flier, can deliver food items to the Libertyville Township food pantry at 359 Merrill Court in Libertyville from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday.
