Stop by Veterans Fair Nov. 11 at Woodstock Harley Davidson
On Veterans Day, the Illinois Chapter 2 of Rolling Thunder Inc. will present a Veterans Fair, hosted by Woodstock Harley Davidson, 2235 S. Eastwood Drive, Woodstock.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11. It will begin at 9 a.m. with an opening ceremony and Veterans' Memorial dedication. At 10:30 a.m., it will be guest speaker Woodstock Mayor Brian Sager
At 11 a.m., the chapter will present the POW/MIA Remembrance Table Ceremony to honor all branches of service.
The event is attended by distinguished military guests, local veterans, and a former World War II POWs.
Veteran-related service organizations and vendors will be on hand all day to assist veterans with benefit questions and access to available resources. There also will be food and patriotic music.

Rolling Thunder Inc. is a 501(c) (4) nonprofit organization with over ninety chartered chapters throughout the United States including three in Illinois. While many members of Rolling Thunder Inc. are veterans and many ride motorcycles, neither qualification is a prerequisite.
Members are old and young, men and women, veterans and nonveterans. All are united in the cause to bring full accountability for the Prisoners of War-Missing In Action (POW/MIA) of all wars, reminding the government, the media and the public by the watchwords: "We Will Not Forget."
