The Bears dropped to a 3-5 record for the first half of the season, after losing 20-12 to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

The Bears made it interesting when quarterback Mark Trubisky scampered for 46 yards in the fourth quarter to set up a Tarik Cohen's 1-yard TD run and giving them a chance for the win, trailing 17-12 with 3:43 remaining.

But Trubisky failed to convert on fourth-and-1 when a pass intended for Kendall Wright fell incomplete with 1:51 remaining.

The Saints added a 49-yard field goal by Wil Lutz in the last seconds of the game.

The most devastating play of the Bears' season occurred when tight end Zach Miller appeared to make a 25-yard touchdown. Miller broke his leg on the play and the touchdown was reversed after it was reviewed.
