Bartlett man charged with possession of child porn
A 41-year-old Bartlett man, Salvator V. Ventrelle, has been charged with five counts of possession of child pornography, the DuPage County sheriff's office said Monday.
Sheriff's detectives said they executed a search warrant at 6:50 a.m. Friday, Oct. 20, at Ventrelle's residence on the 100 block of Amherst Drive following an undercover internet investigation. Detectives said they recovered electronics from the residence and a forensic exam of those electronics revealed the presence of child pornography.
Ventrelle was taken into custody at his residence without incident, deputies said, and is being held on $100,000 bond in DuPage County jail. His next court date is at 9 a.m. Nov. 13.
