Court clears way for housing near Lake Zurich for homeless, mentally ill
The Lake County Housing Authority can move ahead with plans to house homeless people with mental illness at the shuttered Midlothian Manor near Lake Zurich, an Illinois appellate court has ruled. Move to disband Aurora Election Commission revived
Kane County Clerk Jack Cunningham spoke in support of disbanding the Aurora Election Commission, telling a committee of county board members he discussed with Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin what would be involved with abolishing the commission.
