Streamwood planning no increase in tax levy

Streamwood officials are planning no increase in the village's property tax levy this year.

The village board is scheduled to vote Thursday, Oct. 19 to set the estimated levy at $11.38 million, the same level as last year and for several years before that, according to Village Manager Sharon Caddigan.

The village must later vote on final approval of the levy amount before the end of December.

The board meets at 7 p.m. Oct. 19 at village hall, 301 E. Irving Park Road.
