Nature walk for health Saturday in Lake County
The final "Rx for Health: Walking in Nature" event will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at Lyons Woods, 10200 W. Blanchard Road, Waukegan. A health professional and an educator will accompany participants on the 1.7-mile walk to explore the preserve and improve health. The group will gather at 3:45 p.m. in the parking lot on Blanchard Road, just west of Sheridan Road, for a prompt 4 p.m. departure. Service animals are permitted but other pets are not allowed.
