West Aurora superintendent plans 'listening tour'

Do you have something you want to tell the leaders in West Aurora District 129?

Superintendent Jeff Craig is embarking on a "listening tour" for parents, district workers and residents.

Each 90-minute meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.

Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in Spanish. There will also be free child care, and pizza will be served.

The dates are:

• Oct. 11 at Herget Middle School, 1550 Deerpath Road, Aurora, for Herget, Hill and Schneider elementary schools.

• Oct. 17 at Jewel Middle School, 1501 Waterford Drive, North Aurora, for Jewel, Fearn, Goodwin and Smith elementary schools.

• Nov. 1 at Washington Middle School, 231 Constitution Drive, Aurora, for Washington, Freeman, Greenman and Nicholson elementary schools.

• Nov. 7 at West Aurora High School, 1201 W. New York St., Aurora, for the high school, Hope D. Wall School, Blackhawk Center and Todd Early Childhood Center.

• Nov. 13 at Jefferson Middle School, 1151 Plum St., Aurora, for Jefferson, Hall and McCleery elementary schools.
