Feder: Chicago radio stations respond to Las Vegas shooting, Tom Petty

Chicago radio stations responded forcefully to Monday's two biggest stories. Starting before 6 a.m. WBBM 780 AM/WCFS 105.9 FM went wall-to-0wall with coverage of the Las Vegas concert shooting. Later in the day, reports of rock legend Tom Petty's passing prompted Hubbard Radio classic rock WDRV FM 97.1 to play Petty's music exclusively from about 2:45 to 6 p.m. For full report, see RobertFeder.com
