Members of Ela Township's Ela 55 Plus group held its second annual Trunk Sale Saturday in the Ela Township Community Center parking lot.

Participants sold items from their cars and trunks to help raise money for Team Ela Walking the Journey to End Alzheimer's. The event also had live entertainment, and brats and beer for sale.

The township's 55 Plus organization is dedicated to providing the highest quality recreational, social and supportive services to adults 55 and older residing in Ela Township. Ela Township's website says the group's goal is to foster a warm environment where individuals can explore and enjoy activities and services designed to meet the needs and enrich the lives of our diverse older adult population.
