Route 22 closed in Bannockburn
Route 22 (Half Day Road) at the Metra railroad tracks west of Route 43 in Bannockburn will be closed for several days for repairs to the railroad crossing.
The posted detour directs eastbound Half Day Road traffic north on Route 21 (Milwaukee Avenue), east on Route 60 (Townline Road) and south on Route 43 (Waukegan Road) back to Half Day Road. Westbound Half Day Road traffic should take the reverse route.
The repairs are scheduled to be completed by the morning of Monday, Oct. 2, weather permitting. Visit http://www.idot.illinois.gov/ for information on other projects in the area or http://www.travelmidwest.com/ for traffic conditions.
