Alpaca Farm Days coming Barrington this weekend
National Alpaca Farm Days will be celebrated from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23 and Sunday, Sept. 24, at SafeHouse Farm, 25550 Cuba Road in Barrington.
The family event is free and open to the public. Planned activities include a tour of the farm, demonstrations about raising alpacas, photo opportunities and the sale of alpaca products.
