Round Lake fishing derby set for Saturday
The Round Lake Area Park District's 5th annual Family Fishing Event is scheduled for Saturday, at Lakefront Park, 1019 N. Lake Shore Drive, in Round Lake Beach.
Postponed from its original date in May due to inclement weather, the event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and run until 1 p.m. Participants can fish, take part in other activities or just enjoy a day at the lake. There will be music and food, and fishing equipment will be available to those who cannot bring there own.
The event is sponsored by the Round Lake Area Park District and the Huebner Fishery Management Foundation.
