Classical guitar concert in Libertyville Sept. 23
The David Adler Music & Arts Center Concert Series presents "A Night in Spain: Classical Guitar with Michael Egan and Nanae Fujiwara" at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at the Adler Center, 1700 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville.
Egan trained in the style of the Spanish virtuoso Andrés Segovia and Fujiwara recently completed her master's degree in classical guitar at the University of Alicante, in Spain.
They will perform songs for guitar and voice, as well as music for two guitars and compositions by Sor, Scarlatti, Tarrega, and Albeniz.
Admission is $10 for students, $15 for Adler members and $20 for the general public. Tickets are available at www.adlercenter.org or (847) 367-0707.
