District 54 musicians to play at Septemberfest

Schaumburg Township Elementary District 54 will highlight its fine arts program during Schaumburg's Septemberfest over Labor Day weekend.

District 54 student musicians will perform on the Daily Herald Stage Saturday through Monday.

On Saturday, Sept. 2, the Addams Band will perform at 2:30 p.m., the Keller and Lincoln Prairie Band at 3:15 p.m. and the Eisenhower, Keller and Lincoln Prairie Orchestra at 4 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 3, the Mead Band will play at 1 p.m., the Eisenhower Band at 1:45 p.m., the Frost Band at 2:30 p.m. and the Addams, Frost and Mead Orchestra at 3:15 p.m.

On Monday, Sept. 4, Dooley's Early Instrumental Music Orchestra will play at 2:30 p.m.

Also, the District 54 school board and Special Olympics team will participate in the Septemberfest parade, which starts at 10 a.m. Monday on Summit Drive.
