12 candidates apply for open Buffalo Grove trustee spot

A dozen people have applied for the Buffalo Grove trustee spot formerly held by Steve Trilling, who stepped down last month after 15 years of service because he is moving to Northbrook.

In response to a Freedom of Information Act request, village FOIA Officer Jennifer Maltas reported that the applicants were Adam Moodhe, Allen Bojes, David Krivo, Edward Baker, Eric Smith, Frank Cesario, Ira Shapiro, Jeff Braiman, Jim Driscoll, Kevin Richards, Lalit Jagtap and Paulette Greenberg.

She also said that six of the candidates will be interviewed for the position. They are Braiman, the former village president who lost the job to Beverly Sussman in the last election; Greenberg, co-chairman of Buffalo Grove Days; Planning and Zoning Commission members Moodhe, Smith, and Cesario, and former member Shapiro. Interviewing begins next week.
