Lincolnshire waives permit fees after flood

Lincolnshire officials have decided to waive permit fees for construction projects relating to the July floods. Fees will be automatically waived for repairs, renovations or replacement work that needs to be done because of flood damage. Houses and businesses in Lincolnshire were damaged when the Des Plaines River flooded after severe rainstorms. For more information, call building department official Mike Jesse at (847) 913-2318.
