Naperville police arrest Lisle man on battery charge

Naperville police arrested a 28-year-old Lisle man on aggravated battery charges
stemming from an incident that occurred around 11:55 p.m. Sunday.
Nicarro Drake is charged with one count of aggravated battery, a felony.
Police said the victim, a 30-year-old Naperville woman, arrived at the Naperville police station on Monday to report that she had been beaten while in her vehicle in an alley on the 0-100 block of West Van Buren Avenue. The subsequent investigation led police to Drake, who they say struck the victim in the face and head with his fist multiple times.
The victim, who had previously come into contact with the suspect during the course of the evening, suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
