SWALCO official featured speaker at retired teacher event Aug. 8
Merleanne Rampale, public information officer and education director of the Solid Waste Agency of Lake County, will be the featured speaker at the Tuesday, Aug. 8 meeting of the Lake County Retired Teachers Association.
The meeting begins at noon at Lambs Farm restaurant, on the corner of Route 176 and Interstate 94 in Libertyville. The cost is $16 per person for the luncheon buffet and meeting.
Rampale will discuss how to dispose of leftover paint, old electronic devices or other useless items.
All retired educators are invited to the presentation and to learn about the latest news affecting educators in Illinois. No reservations are needed.
