Postponed Cedar Lake Road meeting re-scheduled for Aug. 9

The Lake County Division of Transportation has rescheduled a public information meeting to discuss the possible realignment of Cedar Lake Road between Nippersink and Hart roads in Round Lake to Wednesday, Aug. 9, at the Round Lake Public Works Building, 751 W Townline Road.

The meeting initially was scheduled for July 12, but postponed as a result of widespread flooding in the area following a deluge of rain that day and the previous night.

Scheduled to take place between 5 and 7 p.m., the meeting will allow residents to learn more about the project study process and schedule, and to share feedback. Project representatives will be available, and those who attend can view exhibits of existing conditions and volunteer to serve on the stakeholder involvement group.
