Vette for Vets Car Raffle winner to be selected at Elk Grove summer concert
The drawing of the winning ticket in the Vette for Vets Car Raffle will take place at the finale of the 9th annual Mid-Summer Classics Concert Series, featuring Kool & the Gang.
The band will assist in announcing the recipient of a new 2017 Chevy Corvette at the concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, at Village Green, 901 Wellington Ave., Elk Grove Village.
The Elk Grove Community Character Coalition is administering the raffle and selling tickets in partnership with members of VFW Post 9284. Raffle tickets are $10 each, or 3 for $20, and will be available for purchase before and during the concert until 8:15 p.m.
Proceeds from the raffle will support the installation of an elevator at the local VFW Hall. The raffle was made possible by donation of a Corvette by Castle Chevrolet.
