Help restore natural areas in Grayslake

Conserve Lake County is seeking volunteers for restoration projects from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 8 and Tuesday, July 11, at the Liberty Prairie Nature Preserve in Grayslake.

Volunteers can meet on the south side of Casey Road about one mile east of Route 45. Work involves removing invasive plants in natural areas owned by Libertyville Township and the Illinois Nature Preserves Commission. Equipment, food and water are provided.
