Pedestrian hit by vehicle in Fox Lake
A man was taken to a hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Fox Lake Saturday, according to the Fox Lake Fire Protection District.
The man was crossing the street near the McDonald's on Route 12 when the vehicle hit him, Fox Lake firefighter Sam Santiago said.
The pedestrian was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Santiago said, but his condition was not immediately available.
The Fox Lake Police Department was not immediately available to comment Saturday evening.
