Season's last call for Grayslake's spring farmers market

Grayslake-area residents had one last chance to pick up goodies at the spring farmers market, which ended for the season on Saturday.

But have no fear - the Grayslake Summer Farmers Market begins May 31 and runs from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays through Sept. 20 downtown on Center Street between Whitney and Slusser streets.

The Grayslake Farmers Market is a nonprofit organization that fosters a sense of community by operating a weekly three season outdoor shopping experience in the historic downtown center that offers farm fresh and prepared foods, arts and crafts, music and children's activities.

The markets feature fresh produce, wine, cheese, baked goods, olives and more.
