Two hit by gunfire in Aurora
Two people were wounded by gunfire early Friday morning while leaving a business on the 700 block of North Lake Street in Aurora, police said.
Both victims were driven by a companion to a hospital where they were treated for nonlife-threatening injuries.
One of the victims told police they were approached by two men and one or both opened fire.
Police said they are not ruling out the possibility that gang activity was involved.
